I.D. Cards

Each student (grades K-5) is assigned an ID number and bar code. Elementary cards are maintained in the classroom. Middle and High School students will enter their four digit pin number in a key pad device to access their family lunch account. If you do not know the pin number, you may contact the Food Service Department at 754-2162.

Food Service Accounts and Payments

If you would like to monitor your Food Service account on-line, please contact your child's school to obtain a password for the parent access on the school district web site. In an effort to save postage and paper, and also because parents can go now on-line to view purchases and balances, we will no longer send mass mailings. You may request a statement of your account at any time by contacting the Food Service Office at 754-2162.

It is preferred that payments to your child's food service account be made online via Family Access (password required). Payments made via Family Access will be credited to accounts in as little as two hours. Each family was given username and password information at registration. If you have used Family Access previously, but have forgotten your information, you can request a reminder to be emailed to your email address of record. If you have not used Family Access previously and need username and/or password information, please contact your school office.

Payments may also be mailed to or dropped off at the Education Center, Attn: Food Service, 901 S. 4th Street, DeKalb, IL 60115. When sending payments, indicate parent name, student name, address and phone number. Payments may be dropped in the lock box in the front of the building at 901 S. 4th Street at any time. Check/Money Orders should be made payable to DeKalb Schools FS (Food Service). Payments will not be accepted at your child's school. Please allow 24-36 hrs. for posting of all Food Service payments dropped off at the Education Center.

Note: The DeKalb School District Food Service Program is State and Federally funded. We comply with State and Federal regulations. In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Dept. of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. It is not the policy of the Food Service Department to extend credit for food items. Sufficient funds must be available when purchasing food items.
