Welcome to the 2010-2011 School Year!

The Brooks PTA is gearing up for a new school year and with that comes our annual membership drive.

This year we would like to encourage all Brooks' families to join the PTA. Our purpose is to aid not only the students, but also the faculty and staff at Brooks Elementary in their educational and recreational needs. We also coordinate family and fundraising activities to promote an open communications between the administration, faculty, parents and the community, while enhancing the educational environment.

Studies have shown that children of parents who take an active interest in their education, do better in school and we all want the best for our children.

Our yearly membership fee is only $7.00. (Checks should be made payable to : BROOKS PTA.) This year the PTA will be offering some discounts and specials at PTA sponsored events for our "membership card-carrying" families.

Membership benefits from the National and Illinois State PTA also include: Online Parenting Resources, E-newsletters on Parenting and Legislative Issues, Exclusive National PTA Member Benefits from companies such as Office Depot, Barnes & Noble and Southwest Airlines, Leadership Training Opportunities in-person and online and a Member-to-Member Network.
