Reading/Literacy
Our district now uses the Pearson/Scott Foresman Reading Street series. In second grade we are daily practicing oral language, phonics, spelling, high frequency words, vocabulary, reading comprehension, reading fluency, writing, grammar, speaking, listening, and research/study skills. We practice these skills through the following units:

Our district uses the Harcourt Science series. Second Grade covers the following units:
