The DeKalb High School Orchestra program centers around its two curricular and credit-bearing courses, Concerto Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. Freshmen are automatically enrolled in Concert Orchestra. Students wishing to enroll in Symphony Orchestra must first audition for the Orchestra Director, Mr. Wild. The orchestra program features after school performing groups as well - the DHS String Band, which performs alternative styles of music, the Madrigals Pit Orchestra, and the Madrigals Pit Orchestra.
