On behalf of the entire staff, welcome to DeKalb High School. We hope that all of our students, parents, staff, and other community stakeholders feel they are part of an inclusive school culture where everyone is respected, valued, and has a voice in the process of improving the educational opportunities for students here at the school. There are several ways that any student can become engaged in activities at DeKalb High School outside the classroom. Whether it’s participation in: a school sponsored extra-curricular club, the fine arts, or sports; there is a broad variety of available activities that can help enrich every student’s high school experience. My personal wish is for each of our students to have a positive and meaningful connection to DeKalb High School, outside the context of just attending class.
