DHS Eco-buds is supporting a fundraiser which repurposes large 50 lb. animal feed bags into reusable tote bags similar to the ones used in grocery stores. These tote bags are being sold at “Inboden’s Meat Market” for $10.00, and 100% of the proceeds go to the “DeKalb County Animal Shelter.” If you wish to support this fundraiser in another way, you can bring large 50 lb. plastic-coated pet food bags that are in good condition for sewing to Mrs. Happ’s office in room #A117.

One of our DHS student & her mother started this project, and Eco-Buds hope to help by collecting, washing, sewing, and selling this unique bags in an effort to help our local animals in need at the “DeKalb County Animal Shelter.”
