Welcome back to another exciting school year at Paul T. Wright Elementary!  We are pleased to say the year is off to a great start and children have developed some familiarity with being back at school.  We started the year off strong with a great turnout to our Parent Orientation night on Sept. 2nd and our PBIS kickoff event on Friday, Sept 3 went smoothly!  Students received a refresher about our rules and expectations for each area of our school. 

Hope to see you at our first PTO meeting on Thursday, Sept 9th.  I am looking forward to a fabulous year!

Wright Elementary is proud to be a Professional Development School in partnership with Northern Illinois University. Evolving from the Partners for Life Long Learning Initiative, DeKalb School District 428 is proud to be a part of this innovative and groundbreaking educational partnership.

The Wright/NIU partnership began in October, 2003 and has since expanded to include two additional partnerships : Chesebro Elementary, and the new DeKalb High School
