Our next PBIS celebration will include the first ever HMS dodgeball tournament. Teams can have up to 12 players, must be coed and consist of a minimum of 4 females and 4 males.  All members must be in same grade.  Forms are available from PE teachers and in main office.   Completed forms are due to PE teachers by Feb 10th.

Did you know that the material "Denim" was invented as a sturdy material to help keep gold miners from ripping their pants?!?!  Try on your old denim jeans, and donate the ones that just don't fit quite right to Jeans for Teens.   Builder's Club will be collecting gently used jeans and donating them to less fortunate teens.  Jeans will be collected outside the lunchroom door from now until February 10th.

Attention students!  HMS is starting a new club called “Safe Spot: GSA”!  GSA stands for Gay-Straight Alliance.  This club is open to anyone and everyone who is interested in supporting the differences found in our student community.  The first club meeting will be on Tuesday, Feb 7, from 2:20 – 3:20 in Ms Condon's room 222. See Ms Condon or Mrs. Nelson with questions.

Builder's Club has collected over 70 pairs of Jeans!!!  Let's get that number to over 100!  Please ask your parents, siblings, cousins, etc. to look and donate their old jeans to Jeans for Teens.  We are looking for all sizes!  Remember, Builder's Club will be collecting jeans until Feb 10th.  Please place any donations outside the lunchroom door.
