WEB Program

What is WEB?

The WEB program, which appropriately stands for Where Everybody Belongs, provides a structure which guides 6th graders toward both academic and social success and creates an environment where 6th graders learn that people at their new school care about them.  8th graders, carefully selected from a cross-selection of the student body, go through a well-organized and powerful leadership training curriculum.  The program, run by these 8th grade WEB leaders, lasts all year starting with orientation and followed up with social and academic activities throughout the school year.  As you can imagine, WEB isn't just for 6th graders.  We believe that once WEB is implemented at Huntley Middle School, our 8th graders will be just as positively impacted as the 6th graders.  Please email Angela Martin with any further questions at angela.martin@dist428.org
