v  Before school supervision begins at 8:30am(breakfast also begins at 8:30).  Please do not drop your child off before this time.  If your child arrives before 8:30, they will be unsupervised until 8:30.  Also, please remember to drop your child/ren off in the back parking lot.  The front of the school is for busses only.

v  While it is a good idea to let your child’s teacher know of any day(s) that he/she will be absent, a call to the school office is required to make the attendance clerk aware of the absence.  Voicemail is available at 815-754-2258.

v  If your child is going to be more than a half an hour late for school, please call the school office (754-2258)and be sure to let us know if your child will be having a school lunch that day.  School lunches are ordered at 9:30.  If you do not call and your child arrives after 9:30, you will need to provide a cold lunch for your child. 

v  While we understand that sometimes you and/or your child may run late, we strongly encourage you to get your child to school on time.  When your child arrives late, it causes a disruption for the teacher and class.  Thank you for your cooperation. 

v  (**Please note that according to the Elementary School Handbook, 2 tardies equal one UNEXCUSED absence**).
