Arrival and Dismissal Information
It is our desire to ensure the safety of each child at Tyler Elementary; because of this we installed a new security system at our front door. You will have to be buzzed in to enter the building. If students are being picked up, parents will have to wait outside of the front door. Please refrain from parking your vehicle and leaving it unattended in the fire lane immediately outside of the front doors. It forces other drivers to double park and/or drive around your vehicle. This is not safe for our students. If you need to come in to drop off your child due to a tardy/appointment, please park your car on the closest street to field and come to the front door to be buzzed inside. We are also asking that you not park in the handicap spots, unless you have the appropriate documentation to do so. These parking spots are for our families who need special accommodations, and we want to do everything we can to assist them. Failure to comply with any of the above parking laws may result in a ticket from our local police department. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or suggestion, please feel free to contact us. We are here to serve and guarantee the safety of each child.

Mrs. Mitchell
